A service intervention was carried out on a BM3000-HD boxmaker at a customer’s facility in Poland. The technician calibrated the cutting knives and creasing wheels, while cutting knife No. 2 and creasing wheel No. 6 were reversed to the opposite side. The service also included adjustment of the glue application position, repair of the gluing-system valve and bonding of the rubber beneath the die-cutting section.
The technician subsequently set up specific production jobs and optimized the overall production process. The machine operators were also provided with general information and practical recommendations regarding correct machine setup and efficient operation.
